About Justin
Justin Glodich is an educator and a passionate advocate for the power of music in education, specializing in the art of a cappella. With over 15 years of experience as an educator, and over 20 years of experience as a performer, Justin has worked with students and musicians of all ages, helping them discover and develop their voices in the world of vocal harmony. Over the years, Justin has led countless ensembles, from middle school groups to community choirs, fostering an environment where students and musicians not only refine their vocal technique but also develop confidence, teamwork, and a deep appreciation for the power of music as a form of expression.
In the a cappella world, Justin would get his start as a member of the SUNY Potsdam Pointercounts. He would then become the vocal percussionist of the award-winning professional vocal rock band, The Fault Line, which garnered national attention as semi-finalists on Season 2 of NBC’s America’s Got Talent, and was also mentioned in the Mickey Rapkin book, Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Collegiate A Cappella Glory, and Brody McDonald’s book, A Cappella Pop.
As an educator, Justin is committed to helping his students grow both musically and personally. He believes that the skills learned through a cappella- discipline, creativity, communication, and collaboration- are valuable beyond the stage. Justin’s teaching philosophy is centered on creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every student feels empowered to explore their vocal potential and contribute to the larger sound of the group.
In addition to his work as a director and instructor, Justin is an advocate for the music education and a cappella communities. He has performed across the country in various venues, including New York's prestigious Carnegie Hall and has shared the stage with Deke Sharon, Sean Altman & Jeff Thacher (of Rockapella) and Shelley Regner (of Pitch Perfect & DCappella fame), just to name a few. He has participated and presented in festivals and conferences at the local, national, and state levels, sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for vocal music with others. Whether directing a group, coaching individuals, or simply working with others, Justin’s mission is to inspire through the transformative power of a cappella music.
When he is not teaching, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, rooting for each of them in their own endeavors. He is always excited to collaborate with like-minded educators, musicians, and performers who share his vision of music as a tool for connection, joy, and growth.
